JARID DEANFOLIO/25 FILM DIRECTOR
I’m drawn to the moments most people overlook
and building the structure around them.
My work focuses on people. How they move, how
they connect and the details that give something weight.
I believe a film should make you feel something. Not just intellectually, but physically, something that sits in your chest and stays with you. That’s how I see the world and what I’m always chasing in the work.
My approach is observational, shaped through detail, visual, behavioural and everything in between. It’s less about adding and more about knowing what to hold onto.

This was built around the small things, the “fruits of life.” The moments that feel easy to miss, but end up meaning the most.
COMING SOON
ASICS EKIDEN
We spent two weeks in Japan following Ekiden, one runner passing the Tasuki to the next.
You carry the effort of the person before you, and run for the people after you. It became less about the race, and more about shared energy. The crew, the cast, everyone in it together — even when the rain hit.

CAPITAL BREWING CO
We kept it close and a little rough around the edges, not for the sake of it, but because it felt right for what it is.

ASICS GLOBAL NIMBUS™ 27
It was 35 degrees in Japan. The air thick with heat, the roads humming with cicadas. And yet, there was something deeply still about it all. This film is about that stillness, the kind you find only after the sweat, the climb, the silence between footsteps. A runner’s high, not driven by pace, but by peace.

ASICS GLOBAL CUMULUS™ 27
There are moments when the world feels ancient and you're simply part of it. We ran through mist-covered forests, over volcanic earth, beside the breath of still water. With this one, we leaned into something more primal, when movement stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like instinct.

TRANSPORT FOR NSW
Two mates. One game. A few drinks. What starts as banter over the perfect cricket drive quietly shifts into something deeper. This is a campaign that walks the line between light and dark, because in Australia, the drinking culture runs deep. And sometimes, the most powerful choice you can make… is to leave the car behind.

KPMG KYMCHAT
Shot entirely in a studio, we stepped into the abstract. Playing with time, light and human connection, we built a world where artificial intelligence felt almost… alive. This was about more than tech, it was about capturing awe. That brief, flickering moment when you stop thinking and just feel something new unfolding.

HOLLOW COVES PHOTOGRAPHS
There’s something magical about looking back. The smell of glue sticks. Scribbled corners. Faded ink on old photo paper. With Hollow Coves, we created a moving scrapbook, part music video, part memory collage, hand-crafted to feel like you’ve stepped inside your own childhood, where play and nostalgia dance in soft light.

TAJ RALPH DOWN ON KING
Every artist knows that tug of war. Between what you see in your head and what you can actually make. This clip is for the ones in the middle of that chaos — chasing a feeling, failing, trying again. It’s a love letter to the process, the setbacks, the grit. Because creating something real rarely looks clean. But it’s always worth it.
